Amanda’s Masters of Environmental Sustainability thesis examines vermi- filtration in solid waste management for the creation of biosolids. Amanda has a passion for water conservation and sustainability, realizing the benefits of the common red worm’s ability to filter toxic chemicals, providing a safer and natural method to turn sewage sludge into usable biosolids.
